Psalm 126

When The Lord restored my fortunes, I was as surprised as anyone. My mouth formed a strange upward shape long unknown.

Then my colleagues would say: “God has been kind to him.” God has indeed done me a great kindness and I am joyful!

You restore our fortunes God, like rain after a drought.

We know that the righteous who sow with tears will reap with shouts of joy. Though they slog their guts out unseen in a hostile workplace, you’ll ensure there is reward for their labour.
