For months, we listened with bated breath as medical authorities made their recommendations.
For months, we suffered myriad local griefs, with emotions rising and falling as key metrics went up and down.
For months, we watched and waited and hoped for a time when broken relationships would be restored.
For months, we prayed for a miracle.
On November 23, 2018 the border opened.
The roadblocks trapping Nanna in this physical world were removed, and she crossed quietly over the river Jordan – to begin a new life, with her steadfast saviour, on the other side.
Leaving us to mourn.
And to pray for the final border reopening to come soon.
