After googling and a lot of trial and error, this is how it worked for me:<\/p>\n
– Enable developer mode on the Pre:
\n + ‘just type’ the following: webos20090606, then run the secret app and follow its instructions.
\n– Download and install the Palm SDK on the Mac
\n– it will fail, you’ll need to view package contents on the installer, then run the novacom installer manually
\n– Download the preware binary
\n– cd to \/opt\/nova\/bin
\n– sudo .\/novacomd
\n– unplug the Pre3
\n– reconnect the Pre3 in “charge only” mode
\n– new terminal window
\n– cd to \/opt\/PalmSDK\/Current\/bin
\n– sudo .\/palm-install ~\/Downloads\/org.webosinternals\u2026<\/p>\n
