How To Psalm Like A Verb<\/h1>\n

Step One<\/h3>\n

Pick a range of, say, twenty Psalms.<\/p>\n

e.g. 40-59<\/p>\n

Step Two<\/h3>\n

Speed-read through the first three to five verses of each. You’re looking for the one that most closely describes how you feel now.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Step Three<\/h3>\n

Paragraph by paragraph, start writing out your Psalm in your own words, appropriate to your own circumstances, using modern vernacular.<\/p>\n

Be sure to finish the Psalm; in particular, follow the Psalmist as s\/he “turns”.<\/p>\n

Step Four<\/h3>\n

Store your Psalm in a safe place where you can read it again later if you want.<\/p>\n
